After JS indeed
You are putting beginners in jail....
Yes React is a major market force indeed. It will never hurt anyone's portfolio.
I've been thinking however that the Webcomponent is going to explode. I've been focusing on plain old Html5 and Javascript for that lately. I find it much easier than any other 3rd party tool. Best of all it's not opinionated in any way other than the same specs all others must implement. It's the closest to the metal we can get.
My experience 😐😑😔😶
For my beginner and newbie friends
In 2018 after learning JavaScript I have started learning react js and I was faced lot's of problems and issues.
Because I have just learned javascript and not used it by making projects 😇
I will highly recommend you to don't just go with shiny object sindrome, first complete javascript by making real world projects then switch to react js only 🚩🚩🚩
Happy learning 🏁
Thanks! I did the same.
React jobs are everywhere so yes if you want to get hired thats the path to go down.
Then again:
From Thoughtworks Technology Radar 2022-03-29
i.e. "React" is only part of "web dev".
I have used Vuejs for a lot of time, but now I'm keen to learn React because it's widely used.
Maybe it's because in our jobs it's common to use technology from that place.
Perfect!
Ehh, I mean there are tons of reasons to learn React but this doesn’t do a good job explaining why a beginner should pick React over Vue or Svelte.
I have tried my best to mention the advantages. Please read the whole article and share your views. Thanks!
I'm working on it.....
