I’m a student, solo dev, and a bit of a productivity nerd.
During exam season, I always felt this one pain:
I had PDFs, handwritten notes, textbooks, slides, images...
But no time to go through them all.
So instead of studying like a normal human, I did what devs do best —
I opened VS Code and started building.
Introducing: NexNotes AI
An all-in-one AI tool that converts any study material into:
A neat summary
Quiz questions
Flashcards
Mind maps
Diagrams
Even “humanized” explanation
And optionally, handwritten-looking notes for fun (or assignments 😬)
You upload a file — PDF, screenshot, YouTube transcript, or even a photo — and it gives you a full-on study toolkit in a few seconds.
No payment. No ChatGPT copy-paste mess.
Just fast, focused output that actually helps revise.
How It Works (In short)
Frontend: React.js
Backend: FastAPI
Supabase for Auth & data
OCR via EasyOCR
AI powered by LLM + logic chaining
Why I Built It
I didn’t want to create “just another AI wrapper.”
I wanted to create the tool I wish I had before every exam — something that removes the mental load of organizing, revising, remembering.
And now 7k+ students are already using it.
Try it out here (100% free):
I'd love your thoughts
