MetaRace Product Improvement and EVM-to-PVM

VistralNova began by developing Web3 gaming experiences and is now expanding toward developer infrastructure, smart-contract tooling and research into migrating EVM-based applications toward PolkaVM/PVM execution.

Initial contribution

The selected developer will:

  1. Open and run or interact with the MetaRace project.
  2. Review one relevant product or technical flow.
  3. Identify a confirmed issue, risk or improvement opportunity.
  4. Provide evidence from the running project or source code.
  5. Recommend a practical next step.
  6. Discuss the finding with our PM and CTO.
  7. Optionally implement a small correction or proof of concept as a separate paid milestone.

Possible focus areas include:

  • Solidity and smart-contract architecture
  • Wallet and transaction behavior
  • Backend and blockchain integration
  • Event indexing and state reconciliation
  • Game or frontend functionality
  • Testing, reliability and security
  • Rust and Polkadot infrastructure
  • EVM-to-PVM compatibility
  • solc, Yul, resolc or PolkaVM tooling
  • Developer documentation and local setup

You do not need experience in every area. Please apply for the area that best matches your background.

What we value

  • Evidence that you personally executed or tested the project
  • Clear distinction between confirmed findings and hypotheses
  • Practical recommendations rather than generic reports
  • Strong testing and debugging habits
  • Honest communication about uncertainty
  • Ability to explain your own work during a short walkthrough

AI-assisted tools may be used for research, coding or writing, but all findings must be independently verified. Submitting a generated report without interacting with the project will not be accepted.

Strong contributors may be offered continuing project work and opportunities to help shape VistralNova’s EVM-to-PVM infrastructure roadmap.
