What is Raycast?
It’s the most amazing productivity app you’ll ever use. It can help you in following purposes:
Task automater
Launcher
Spotlight or Alfred alternative
Instant file search (you can even search inside your file!)
Script executor
Note taking
Simple or complex calculations
Window management (Spectacle alternative)
Clipboard saver
Code snippets manager
Scheduler
And you can continue this list for an hour. I don’t use the full power of the Raycast, yet.
Extensions?
You can build your own extensions using their API or just download existing ones from the Raycast Store.

Raycast instantly executes your daily tasks. If you often search Google, Github or YouTube like me, you can assign “go” to Google, “gi” to Github, “y” to YouTube searches.
“Raycast, push my code to GitHub, then turn off my computer!“
It might take time to get used to your keyboard shortcuts. (I also forget mine.) But after 1-2 weeks, you’ll start to automate your GitHub pushes, app launches.
Yeah, it’s overwhelming in the beginning. But it does the job. Let’s save our time for more creative work than manually opening-closing your apps every single day.
