I feel like this design will need to be modified if this is to include many people, but you'll have to evolve this if it's going to really be a directory.
I'd recommend checking out Algolia for something that might be useful in filtering and displaying content as this grows.
Otherwise, the list is mostly American white men, and I'd definitely recommend looking for more different kinds of faces. They're out there, and this project will only be helped by preemptively putting more thought into the diversity of the world.
