It's true

I did it on my 12 year old laptop...
Oh no this was me last week
you only think it's worse because you haven't learned it yet?
Yes.
It took much less effort for me to learn to work with other IDEs that made me productive much faster. Vim users usually say they are faster at typing but... I don't need to get any faster, as most of the time I'm just thinking about what to write.
The learning curve is, without a doubt, a problem. If it uses lesser-known or just very old UI/UX patterns, it's a bother, not a help. In order to make it not bothersome, I need to heavily customize it... which is a bother per se.
If you're comfortable with vim, then go ahead. As a team lead, I personally never imposed the usage of any IDE. Following the lint rules is enough, just don't expect to find an equivalent settings.json file in the repo. As per my personal experience, though, vim users always had a hard(er) time when it comes to linting wrt team members who use Code or WebStorm, which doesn't improve my stance on vim.
Vim is not an IDE, its a text processor... can be extended to work as an IDE. You don't like, don't use it!! You love it, have fun! 😉
Learn vim to get bragging rights about using it
Vi is a text processor, not a mere editor. If you just want to edit, use NotePad or something.

They played the Uno reverse card 1️⃣🔃💀
Bro switched roles💀
For now...
Well, I actually like this improvisation. A variation on Smashing Pumpkin's 'Bullet with butterfly wings', 'Elephant with butterfly wings'. Nice! This developer can join my UX team anytime :)
And this is beautiful!
Disclaimer: I am a coder who sometimes have to improvise LOL
Just a wild guess, but perhaps it has something to do with the military acronym FUBAR?
Many assume so, yeah.
Why that reference, though? It's another mystery.
Because spelling out foo properly would be inappropriate to commit into git.
I think I read a stack overflow questioning this once... but I can't remember the answer, probably something silly or not worth remembering
Only people who've done CSS before
display: flex
have a right to find this funny🙋♂️🙋♂️
30+ years in the IT game and it's not the tech, it's the fact that tech was supposed to help make people smarter and, well let's just say that ain't happening anytime soon!
You should probably be more concerned with developers who write code in red text on a blue background or vice versa.

Today's comiCSS source code and live demo.
LOL ( with sweaty forehead )
Clearly you don't understand separation of concerns. This house is where we define the windows we want. The next house is where we open and close the windows and the next house to that is where we have painted the windows
The proper way to carry out a web development task is to put all the CSS concerns on someone else.
(yes, we're on Bluesky! no, we don't have invite codes yet 🥲)
Gross. Get on Mastodon. You realize BlueSky owns 100% of all content posted on it to use as they wish and you own 0% of your data?
Hey Xan, we're on Mastodon as well. We're exploring Bluesky as an emerging space—thanks for sharing your concerns around ownership and privacy.
That's highly unlikely to be true. At most they'd be asking for a perpetual non-exclusive license to use use content as they see fit.
But since bluesky is meant to be decentralised, I don't know who would own the content.
