I've noticed that I'm beginning to visit dev.to more than social-media or almost any other site. The save posts feature is really nice. I've built-up a very nice reading list for myself. Also, some of you post really great dev content. Thanks!

Thanks so much! We're working hard to make it the place that really fulfills developer dreams. Finding like minded folks and leveling up skills and careers. It means so much to hear feedback like this!
This site was a good idea. I come across good dev content on the web and social media, however here at dev.to it's much easier to find what your looking for and make personal connections. The new connect(chat) feature is nice too :)
I love this site, but idk how did you (I mean the team, not you alone) grow this place with the right attitude?
I mean, StackOverflow is fullfiled with developers too, but the attitude there is very arrogant and so, and I can assume here we are (almost) the same people.
Idk what are you doing in order to maintain this line of conduct, is it an intended effort? or it is happening by itself?
Sorry for the interview, but maybe you could make an article explaining it.
Just started using dev.to . Lots of resources for me as I have just started my IT career(~2.5 yrs and there is so much to learn -_-) .Love the site. Wish to become a contributor some day. Kudos from India.
I'm sure you can be a contributor today!
If you mean contributing with posts, there will always be somebody that needs to learn what you already did.
If you mean contributing to the dev.to project, I bet there are beginner friendly things to work on. And btw, 2.5yrs isn't that much of the beginner. 😉
Thanks!
100% agree. As a fan of both Reddit and Medium, this site just checks off all of the boxes for me. Great content here, especially for beginners.
Thanks to everyone for the awesome information. And thank you, Ben (Halpern), for being a guest on Product Hunt Radio which led me to this amazing community!
There are so many things I want to read or read again that my saved post list is getting out of control! It’s a good thing. 😉 I’m going to look into creating user folders for my saved items to make them easier to sort through.
I wanted to work on this, but it felt like a pretty huge project for a first time Ruby user, so I haven't made time yet. I like this idea!
Me too! Twitter is now secondary to dev.to (well, Dev.to and Spectrum.chat) when it comes to community/social sites. So much useful information and good discussions.
I like this place too. Very valuable community here. :)
The reading list is my top feature here, I am also building myself a nice reading list for so much great content! :) Love it!
I just came across this site and I am already thinking of making it my daily reading source.
Same! This site is great, I've saved so much to my reading list. ❤️
Yay ! 👌
