I Built an AI Website Builder That Refuses to Fake Anything

Most AI website builders share a dirty secret: the pretty build panel is mostly theatre. Progress bars move on timers, "steps completed" are claimed before anything happens, and nobody checks whether the links in your generated site actually work.

I built Black Whole around one rule: never claim something that a tool did not confirm.

How it works

  1. You describe the website you want in plain English and paste any reference links.
  2. The agent actually opens those links and reads them, using them for structure and tone, never copy-pasting wholesale.
  3. It plans the pages, then writes one real file at a time. An ordinary project with clean code and full history.
  4. Before publishing, it verifies its own work: every page, link and asset URL is fetched and checked.
  5. You get a live URL, and you can push the whole project to GitHub in one click.

Why "bring your own key" matters

The builder itself is free. You plug in your own AI provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google AI Studio, Mistral, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Together AI and others), so you pay the provider directly and nothing is hidden in a markup. No card required to try it.

Your site is an asset, not a rental

Everything the agent writes is yours: export it, host it anywhere, hand it to any developer. Checkpoints are taken at every step, so a bad edit is one restore away.

If you have ever watched a fake progress bar lie to you, give Black Whole a try and watch a build that shows its receipts.
