Boss Lab's Campaign is where most of your parts come from and where you learn the combat rules. Here's how it's laid out and how to get through the walls.
The route
The Campaign has 100 stops across 20 districts, with five bosses per district. The opening path runs through:
- Junkyard
- Power Plant
- Spider Factory
- Scientist's Lab
- Champion's Tower
- Sunset Foundry
- Grand Coliseum
After that, thirteen Odyssey districts take the route the rest of the way to 100.
Stops unlock in order, and you can replay any stop you've reached. First clears give guaranteed part unlocks. So when you need a counter to a particular boss, check what the next reachable stop awards before assuming a random crate is your only option.
Winning and stars
- Winning: you have to knock the boss out within 30 seconds. Having more health left when time runs out isn't enough; on a timeout, the boss holds. That's the opposite of the Arena, where timeouts go to the higher health share.
- Stars: a win earns one star. Finishing with at least 35% core health earns two, and 70% earns three.
- District chests: these open at 5, 10 and 15 stars, so replaying an older stop with a better plan can still pay off.
Treat a wall as a diagnosis
When you're stuck, first work out which kind of loss you're having:
- The boss survives the timer. Look for lost attacking time, resource downtime and bad matchups against its defenses.
- Your core breaks early. Look at the enemy's Rage, exposure from behind and which of your modules died first.
These are different problems with different fixes. The pre-fight briefing and post-fight advice are good starting points, but check them against the parts you actually have. A favorable forecast is advice, not a promise. Save Scrap for upgrades that support a build that can actually handle the matchup.

A campaign structure this large benefits from visible pacing rules as much as a boss count. Players need to understand which districts teach a mechanic, which test mastery, and where optional encounters sit; that makes progression feel authored instead of like a long inventory of fights.
