I built a billboard where 100 indie projects compete for the #1 spot. Here's what it looks like.

Hey everyone! πŸ‘‹

Remember the Million Dollar Homepage from 2005? I wanted to build a modern version where spots aren't permanent and projects compete for visibility.

So I built BumpOne.lol β€” a live, gamified billboard for indie hackers, startups, and developer tools.

Here's how it works:

πŸ‘‘ 100 slots. One King. Only 100 projects can appear on the billboard. The #1 project gets the biggest spot, right in the center.

βš”οΈ Bump your way up. Projects can pay to climb the rankings and knock others down. Previous spending carries forward when you bump again.

πŸ“‘ Live rank battles. Real-time ranking changes, displacement alerts, and sound effects make the competition visible.

πŸͺ¦ The Graveyard. Projects pushed out of the top 100 aren't forgotten β€” they're preserved in an archive.

Tech stack: Next.js 15, Supabase, Cloudflare Pages, Dodo Payments.

The billboard just launched with 100 open slots, starting at $10.

I'd genuinely love your feedback:

Does this seem like a fun way to discover and promote indie projects, or would you rather see a different ranking mechanism?

I'm especially interested in what you'd change before putting your own project on it.
