The alarm went off at 5:30 AM, same as always. Hit the gym knowing it might be my last workout for a while—doc's talking surgery for my wrist. There's something surreal about going through your normal routine when you know it might not be normal much longer.
The Productivity Paradox
Today's output: practically nothing. After days of forcing myself to be productive, my brain apparently decided to take an unauthorized vacation. Maybe there's a lesson here about sustainable work habits, or maybe I'm just looking for meaning in what was essentially a lazy Tuesday.
College shopping is done though. Bought clothes that make me look like I belong in lecture halls again. It's funny how you can measure life in these small administrative victories—shopping done, check. Ready to pretend I'm a functional adult student, check.
The Real Talk
Sometimes your body forces you to take breaks you didn't plan for. The wrist injury that started as a minor inconvenience might need actual medical intervention. The universe has a way of making you slow down when you refuse to do it yourself.
Tomorrow it's back to the laptop, assuming my wrist cooperates. few days left before college starts, and I'm trying to squeeze in as much work as possible. The irony isn't lost on me—rushing to work more before I have to work more.
Some days you build, some days you just exist. Today was an existing day, and maybe that's exactly what I needed.
