This week was better than the last one.
Not exceptional, but stable.
Academics: Understanding the System
I scored average in most of my college subjects.
Nothing impressive, but I figured out something more useful:
how professors are actually grading.
That matters more than raw effort.
Once you understand evaluation patterns, you can:
- Focus on what gets marks
- Avoid wasting effort on things that don’t
Creative Work
I wrote a few pieces this week.
I’m not just working on technical skills — writing is part of my process.
It helps in:
- Thinking clearly
- Expressing ideas
- Staying consistent outside of code
Real-World Exposure
I’m part of a club where we teach underprivileged kids.
This week involved school drives:
- Interacting with principals
- Talking to teachers
- Engaging with students
The approach is unstructured and a bit chaotic, but it works.
Not everything effective is optimized.
Physical Consistency
Workout stayed consistent.
Saw small progress.
Nothing dramatic, but consistency matters more than intensity right now.
Work Output Reality
Average productive time:
~1 hour/day
That’s low.
But it’s still better than where I was before: 0 hours.
Right now, the goal is:
stabilize → then scale
The Misconception
There’s a common assumption:
If someone:
- Works out
- Builds things
- Has hobbies
- Has some discipline
Then they must have everything figured out.
That’s not true.
You can check all those boxes
and still feel completely lost some days.
Pattern Awareness
I’m expecting a drop around the 29th.
Either:
- Low energy
- Or self-sabotage
This isn’t new.
The difference this time is:
I’m aware of it.
And awareness is the first step to breaking the cycle.
Plan Forward
- Maintain minimum 1 hour of work daily
- Increase gradually
- Continue DSA + ML
- Keep weekly logs consistent
No extreme targets.
Just controlled progression.
