I Built PNGForge: A Free Online Tool to Convert Images into PDF Documents

Have you ever needed to combine several screenshots, scanned pages, or images into one PDF file? Installing software just to complete a small task can be inconvenient. I wanted to make this process simpler by building a web-based tool that anyone can access through a browser. This idea led to PNGForge, a free online image-to-PDF converter.

PNGForge allows users to select multiple PNG, JPG, and JPEG images and combine them into a single PDF document. Users can arrange their images in the preferred page order and remove unwanted images before converting. The tool formats the output for standard A4 pages, making it useful for preparing documents for school, work, printing, or sharing online.

One of the main goals of the project is to make conversion fast and convenient. Instead of requiring users to install a separate application, PNGForge works through a web browser on desktop and mobile devices. The interface is designed around a straightforward workflow: select images, organize the pages, convert them, and download the finished PDF.

Privacy was another important consideration when developing this tool. PNGForge processes selected images directly inside the browser rather than uploading them to a conversion server. This approach helps users convert personal screenshots and documents without sending the image files to a remote conversion service. As with any online tool, users should still keep their devices and browsers secure.

You can try the tool here: PNGForge — Free PNG to PDF Converter. I'm continuing to develop useful web tools that solve everyday problems without making simple tasks unnecessarily complicated. I'd love to hear feedback from developers and users about what features would make an online image converter more useful.
