What I Learned From Hacktoberfest
Hacktoberfest has allowed me to become more confident as every years events go by when it comes to pull requests.
I often have a fear that what I've worked hard at, will just end up being closed and pushed away.
By being able to search for repos with hacktoberfest enabled, it provided me a better baseline on who was willing to dive into other peoples code changes.
