The Problem
If you use multiple browsers — Chrome at work, Safari on your Mac, Firefox for privacy — your bookmarks are scattered everywhere. Each browser has its own sync, but none of them talk to each other.
The Solution
Marksyncr is a free browser extension that syncs your bookmarks across Chrome, Safari, and Firefox. No cloud account, no subscription, no data harvesting.
How It Works
- Install the extension on each browser
- Your bookmarks sync automatically
- Add a bookmark in Chrome → it appears in Firefox and Safari
Why I Built This
I got tired of manually exporting/importing bookmark HTML files. Browser-native sync only works within the same ecosystem (Google account for Chrome, Apple ID for Safari). There was nothing simple that worked across all three.
Marksyncr fills that gap.
Try It
- Free — no premium tier, no limits
- Privacy-first — your data stays yours
- Cross-browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox
