Tôi đã bỏ Upwork từ đầu 2025 rồi. Cuối năm ngoái thử quay lại xem có đỡ không — kết quả: vẫn là race to the bottom. Client đăng job $500 mà muốn full-stack + DevOps + "AI integration" (read: gọi API OpenAI), deadline 2 tuần. 50+ proposal trong 6 tiếng, đa số là agency Ấn Độ bid $200 rồi outsource cho junior.
Điều duy nhất còn值得 (worth) là long-term client cũ giới thiệu nhau qua direct contract, không qua platform. Upwork bây giờ chỉ còn là lead gen cho agency và content farm, không phải marketplace cho dev độc lập.
Nếu bạn vẫn muốn freelance: build personal brand, viết case study thật, nhờ referral network. Rate sẽ cao gấp 3-4 lần và không ai hỏi "bạn có thể làm rẻ hơn không?" (site: labagent .tech)
