The coolest thing for self-teaching is loading information straight into your brain.
And specifically when nothing else is pulling at you.
Say you are driving, and while you drive, a pile of useful information gets loaded into your brain.
Depending on the language: in English at 1.25 speed, in Russian at x2 you can push information inside.
Some things are worth listening to 2-3-4 times to understand them better.
The topic I am loading right now is everything connected to machine learning, and everything that could potentially be useful to me in the interviews I end up in.
I set it up so that when a session has too many letters, too long; didn't read, I ask the session, or rather the session figures out on its own, that Anton needs a NotebookLM podcast made for his current topic.
And it makes me a 15-20-30 minute audio with a good prompt, so that the audio focuses exactly on what I specifically need to understand.
In general, NotebookLM is a great thing. I recommend it to everyone in every way as categorically as I can, because loading audio information into your brain is genuinely easier than reading. Much, much easier.
And one more key thing: audio loads into the brain better exactly when you are driving, when you are not sitting at the computer.
When you sit at the computer, the chat, the sessions and everything else keep pulling you away. And driving is the best possible time to load something into your brain.
