My Claude always tells me: "If you want to find a job, find a referral guy inside the company."
And yesterday he sent me to a place where Anthropic events are happening everywhere. There were people from the Applied AI Team there, and I understood that yes, there is a chance of getting in.
So, in short, there is a chance. It is just hard. With Applied AI you land directly on the team.
There are easier options here:
become an ambassador and run community events;
become an SMB integrator and start selling Claude into SMB, that one is harder;
ambassadors, SMB integrators and the Applied AI team.
In short, I am going to look for a chance to get in: you can write, look for the Chinese, write them letters. And also consider the various labs that want to move to the valley, they are needed too.
So far I am looking at
Applied AI
forward deployed engineers;
solution engineers;
meetup runners;
ambassadors;
and all sorts of other things.
Because, it seems to me, you do not live on Anthropic alone.
I need to look at what other options there are.
