Reading papers daily and catching every third word in the room

I have been to various closed gatherings where AI engineers come together, the kind who look like hippies.

Their salaries are 500 to 700K. Maybe even more.

I listened to what they were saying and realised that I do not understand English at all. Their English I do not understand at all.

So what I have understood now is that I need to listen very hard to various AI podcasts in English, to start properly getting it.

Because when an engineer talks about how to configure PyTorch, or about how he trains that LLM of his, I only catch every third word.

Very, very urgently needs fixing.
