The Problem
I wanted to learn cybersecurity seriously.
So I did what everyone does — opened
Google, YouTube, Reddit. Within an hour
I had 30+ tabs, three contradicting
roadmaps, and more confusion than
when I started.
I wasn't learning cybersecurity.
I was drowning in resources about
learning cybersecurity.
Closed everything. Sat in silence.
Thought — there has to be a better way.
The Solution
I built CyberPath Academy.
A free, structured platform that answers
one question clearly:
"Where do I start?"

The Story
The hardest part wasn't the code.
It was content. Writing 12 months of
structured SOC curriculum while:
- Working full time at office
- Studying CCNA simultaneously
- Attending 3rd semester university
Some days I had 30 minutes.
Some days 3 hours.
Some days I watched Messi score
a hat-trick instead. No regrets.
One day I went to Mustang, Nepal
with friends and closed the laptop
completely for 5 days.
Came back and wrote 3 months of
content in 24 hours.
The Current Stats (3 days after launch)
- 85+ users
- 7 countries (US, Nepal, Poland, France, Netherlands, Germany, Malaysia)
- #1 on Google for "CyberPath Academy"
- Zero paid marketing
What I Learned
- Pure JS is powerful enough for complex apps — don't always need React
- Content is 10x harder than code
- SEO matters from day 1
- Ship first, perfect later
- Consistency beats talent
Why Free Forever
Because the confusion I felt on Day 1
doesn't care about your budget.
Students in Nepal, India, Bangladesh,
Nigeria, Brazil — everywhere — face
the same overwhelming internet and
the same question:
"Where do I start?"
CyberPath exists to answer that.
Clearly. Completely. Freely. For everyone.
Try It
Would love honest feedback from
the DEV community:
- What's missing?
- What would you add?
- What could be better?
Built with purpose. Free for everyone
