Hey everyone,
I help run Founders for Founders, a pre-accelerator backed by s16vc and Ellipsis Ventures. This summer we're running our Summer Startup Bootcamp (July 6 – August 11) and wanted to share it here because the people who tend to thrive in it are exactly the kind of people who hang out on Reddit.
What it is:
A 6-week, fully remote co-building program where you form a real company from scratch. 40 hours a week. No lectures, no certificates, no fluff. You come in with an idea — or no idea at all — and leave with a founding team, a validated startup, and an investor-ready pitch.
What actually happens:
Week 1: Stop waiting for the perfect idea. Go talk to real people and find a problem that actually hurts
Week 2: Lock your idea, size the market, defend it in front of people who will tell you when you're wrong
Week 3: Pitch it to the cohort, form a team around complementary skills — not friendships
Week 4: Build a real financial model. Not to predict the future, but to prove you understand your business
Week 5: Pitch clinic — serial founders and VC partners with no reason to be nice
Week 6: Live pitch to a real VC panel. Top teams fast-track into our accelerator with the possibility of a first check
Who's mentoring:
Founders of Miro, Pitch.com, Orum, Basepaws — and partners from Peak XV (formerly Sequoia) and Acrobator Ventures, among 80+ others.
Who we're looking for:
People who want to build, not just learn about building. Technical or non-technical — what matters is that you're serious and you'll show up.
Applications are open and spots are limited (200 students, 50 per track across AI & Automation, Robotics, B2B, and B2C).
