MyZubster Update: AI Strategy, Blockchain Traceability, OAuth and New Comic Visuals

The last few days brought several important developments for MyZubster. We moved forward across institutional dialogue, blockchain traceability, platform authentication and visual storytelling.

Here is what happened—and what comes next.

An Invitation to Discuss Italy’s AI Strategy

MyZubster received an invitation to participate in an institutional online hearing connected to the update of Italy’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2026–2028.

The hearing is scheduled for September 22, 2026.

We confirmed our participation and submitted a complete documentation package containing:

  • a concise MyZubster briefing;
  • proposed AI use cases and pilots;
  • recommendations for the National AI Strategy;
  • the completed thematic hearing form.

We also informed members of the wider LIFE and research network about the opportunity.

This invitation does not represent funding, endorsement or a formal partnership. It is an opportunity to contribute ideas and practical experience to an institutional discussion.

Our contribution will focus on:

  • transparent and accountable AI;
  • human supervision;
  • open-source infrastructure;
  • verifiable environmental data;
  • accessibility and community participation;
  • privacy-preserving digital services;
  • small pilots that can be independently evaluated.

A Real Blockchain Anchor for Circular Traceability

MyZubster also completed its first real AHP traceability anchor on Base Sepolia.

The prototype can:

  1. create structured traceability events;
  2. validate and digitally sign them;
  3. store operational records off-chain;
  4. calculate SHA-256 hashes;
  5. assemble those hashes into a Merkle root;
  6. publish the root through a real blockchain transaction;
  7. return a transaction receipt and block reference.

The first confirmed testnet transaction was:

This is an important technical milestone, but its meaning must remain precise.

A blockchain anchor can demonstrate the integrity and timestamp of registered data. It cannot independently prove that a physical collection, treatment or recycling operation occurred. Those claims still require qualified measurements, authorized operators and independent verification.

Personal and health data must never be written on-chain.

Exploring Circular Care and Healthcare-Waste Pilots

The AHP work is being developed as a possible foundation for pilots involving absorbent hygiene products and other controlled waste streams.

A future end-to-end pilot could record:

  • design and material-passport publication;
  • product-lot creation;
  • supply and custody transfers;
  • authorized collection;
  • treatment acceptance;
  • treatment completion;
  • recovered fractions;
  • final destination;
  • corrections and disputes;
  • blockchain-anchor receipts.

QR or NFC identifiers could connect physical containers or batches to their event histories.

Sensitive documents would remain in protected off-chain storage. Only minimal, non-personal integrity proofs would be anchored publicly.

This remains a pilot proposal. MyZubster does not currently claim to operate or certify healthcare-waste recycling.

Gmail and GitHub Authentication

We configured and tested the platform’s Google OAuth integration.

Users can explicitly authorize Gmail read-only access for profile-related functionality. Automatic synchronization requires a separate consent flow and an encrypted refresh token.

The architecture follows several principles:

  • explicit user consent;
  • Gmail read-only scope;
  • encrypted refresh-token storage;
  • revocable access;
  • separation between login and mailbox authorization;
  • no publication of private messages;
  • no credentials committed to GitHub.

We also configured GitHub OAuth for identity verification and onboarding. The flow uses limited permissions:

This allows MyZubster to connect a verified GitHub identity to a platform profile without requesting repository-write permissions.

New Comic Visuals

We expanded the MyZubster Comic Universe with visual chapters dedicated to:

  • blockchain and circularity;
  • healthcare-waste traceability;
  • the connection between the Space Station narrative and Earth;
  • underground subcultures and circular communities;
  • Free Party culture;
  • community pilots.

The newest visuals are now being connected to the main comic and relevant GitHub repositories.

Visual storytelling is useful because complex systems are difficult to communicate through APIs and technical specifications alone. The images provide accessible entry points into the architecture.

However, every visual carries a clear boundary:

An illustration explains a concept. It is not, by itself, evidence that the concept has been implemented, validated or certified.

Repository Updates

The new visual material has been integrated into relevant repositories, including:

  • space-station;
  • I-ECO-01;
  • urban-lab-nurse;
  • the main MyZubster Comic Universe.

The repository READMEs now connect each visual to its technical or narrative context and distinguish among:

  • real evidence;
  • historical references;
  • pilot concepts;
  • fictional storytelling;
  • future functionality.

What Comes Next

The immediate roadmap includes:

  • preparing for the institutional AI hearing;
  • refining the LIFE 2027 consortium roadmap;
  • completing the AHP event chain;
  • implementing QR/NFC physical linkage;
  • testing corrections and key rotation;
  • publishing Merkle-proof verification;
  • defining measurable pilot acceptance criteria;
  • improving Gmail and GitHub onboarding;
  • integrating the newest visual chapters into MyZubster.

The objective is not to use blockchain, AI or the metaverse as labels.

The objective is to build small, inspectable systems where people can distinguish what is implemented, what is measured, what is verified and what remains an idea.
