MyZubster’s Next Step: Institutional AI Dialogue, Real Blockchain Evidence and Circular Pilots
MyZubster has reached an important transition point.
What began as an open-source ecosystem connecting community participation, artificial intelligence, blockchain and visual storytelling is now entering a more structured phase: institutional dialogue, documented pilots and independently verifiable technical evidence.
During the last few days, we:
- received an invitation to an institutional hearing on Italy’s AI strategy;
- confirmed our participation;
- submitted four supporting documents;
- completed a real blockchain anchor on Base Sepolia;
- configured Google and GitHub OAuth;
- activated consent-based Gmail synchronization;
- extended our circular traceability model;
- published new visual chapters;
- updated several GitHub repositories.

Who Contacted MyZubster?
MyZubster received an official communication from the Technical Secretariat of the Committee of AI Experts through the Italian Digital Agency domain, agid.gov.it.
The invitation was communicated on behalf of Professor Gianluigi Greco, Coordinator of the Committee established within the Presidency of the Council of Ministers to support the update of Italy’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2026–2028.
MyZubster was invited to participate in an online institutional hearing scheduled for September 22, 2026.
The purpose of the hearing is to collect qualified contributions, experiences and proposals that may support the Committee’s work.
We accepted the invitation and confirmed our participation.
This is an opportunity to contribute to an institutional discussion. It must not be interpreted as government endorsement, funding, certification or a formal partnership.
What We Submitted
To prepare for the hearing, MyZubster submitted four documents:
- MyZubster AI Hearing Brief
A concise presentation of the ecosystem, its principles, technical components and current maturity.
- MyZubster Use Cases and Pilots
A structured overview of possible applications involving responsible AI, environmental data, circular economy, accessibility and public-interest services.
- MyZubster Proposals for the National AI Strategy
Recommendations covering transparency, human oversight, open-source infrastructure, privacy, interoperability and verifiable public workflows.
- Completed Thematic Hearing Form
The official form requested by the Technical Secretariat, completed with MyZubster’s contribution.
The documents were sent directly to the Secretariat and stored in the project’s controlled documentation archive.
Members of the broader LIFE, academic and research network were also informed about the invitation.
What MyZubster Will Bring to the Hearing
Our contribution will focus on a simple principle:
AI systems used in public-interest contexts should make it possible to distinguish what was generated, what was measured, what was verified and what remains uncertain.
The main topics include:
- transparent AI-assisted decisions;
- meaningful human supervision;
- explicit consent and revocable access;
- open-source public-interest infrastructure;
- accessible interfaces;
- environmental data provenance;
- signed operational events;
- privacy-preserving audit trails;
- independent verification;
- small pilots with measurable acceptance criteria.
The objective is not to present AI as an autonomous authority.
AI should help people understand information, coordinate work and detect inconsistencies while leaving consequential decisions to authorized human participants.
A Real Blockchain Milestone
MyZubster also completed its first real blockchain anchor for the AHP traceability prototype.

The implemented workflow can:
- validate structured traceability events;
- verify digital signatures;
- store append-only records in MongoDB;
- serialize events consistently;
- calculate SHA-256 hashes;
- assemble event hashes into a Merkle tree;
- publish the Merkle root through an EVM transaction;
- record the transaction and block reference.
This is a real technical result, but its meaning must remain precise.
A blockchain transaction can demonstrate that a specific digest existed by a certain point in time. It cannot independently demonstrate that a collection, transport, treatment or recycling operation occurred correctly.
Physical claims still require:
- authorized operators;
- qualified measurements;
- custody-transfer records;
- protected evidence;
- reconciliation of quantities;
- independent review.
Blockchain supports integrity. It does not replace verification.
Circular Care and Healthcare-Waste Traceability
The traceability architecture is being explored as a possible foundation for pilots involving absorbent hygiene products and controlled healthcare-waste streams.

Every event should contain a pseudonymous actor identifier, timestamp, measurement method, evidence hash and digital signature.
Errors should not be silently overwritten. A correction must be represented by a new event referencing the previous record.
The model remains a pilot proposal. MyZubster does not currently claim to operate, certify or independently validate healthcare-waste recycling.
Privacy Is a System Boundary
Personal and health data must never be placed on a public blockchain.
This includes:
- names and email addresses;
- medical information;
- menstrual or continence information;
- household-level usage histories;
- exact locations of vulnerable people;
- photographs containing personal data;
- readable consent records;
- private correspondence.
Sensitive evidence remains off-chain under controlled access and retention rules.
The blockchain receives only minimal, non-personal integrity proofs, such as a Merkle root.
A QR or NFC identifier may connect a controlled container or batch to a verification page, but it must use a random token that does not reveal a person’s identity or health condition.
Google OAuth and Gmail Auto-Sync
We configured Google OAuth for MyZubster and successfully activated consent-based Gmail synchronization.
The integration uses the read-only Gmail permission:

Automatic synchronization requires:
- explicit user authorization;
- offline OAuth access;
- a refresh token;
- encryption using a dedicated 32-byte Base64 key;
- authenticated status endpoints;
- a visible option to disable synchronization.
Mailbox access and platform authentication should remain separate.
A person must be able to use MyZubster without connecting Gmail. Gmail access should be requested only when a feature genuinely requires it.
The integration must not publish private messages or use them as public evidence without specific authorization.
GitHub OAuth
GitHub OAuth was configured for identity onboarding with limited scopes:
read:user
user:email
The flow allows MyZubster to:
- redirect the user to GitHub;
- receive explicit authorization;
- verify the returned OAuth state;
- retrieve the authorized public profile;
- generate a short-lived verification ticket;
- return the user to the onboarding interface.
No repository-write permission is requested.
This creates a foundation for connecting verified GitHub identities to MyZubster profiles and metaverse characters while keeping technical identity separate from fictional narrative identity.
New Comic Visuals
Visual storytelling remains an important part of the project.
New visual chapters now cover:
- blockchain and circular recycling;
- healthcare-waste traceability;
- circular community pilots;
- the path from underground subcultures to circular economies;
- Free Party culture;
- the connection between the Space Station narrative and Earth.
Relevant GitHub repositories were updated, including:

Each visual is classified carefully:
- REAL_EVIDENCE for documented technical results;
- PILOT_CONCEPT for proposed experiments;

- FICTION / CONCEPT for narrative world-building.
An illustration can explain an architecture. It cannot prove implementation, certification, partnership or environmental impact.
From the Space Station Back to Earth
One of the newest visual chapters is titled “From the Stars to Earth.”
The Space Station represents MyZubster’s wider narrative environment: distributed intelligence, simulation, artificial entities and long-term systems thinking.
But the story ultimately returns to real communities and territories.
Technology matters only when it helps people:
- understand complex systems;
- protect sensitive information;
- measure environmental outcomes;
- coordinate responsibilities;
- identify uncertainty;
- verify evidence;
- participate in decisions.
The fictional environment gives us a language for imagining possibilities. GitHub, operational records and independent verification provide the evidence.
Future Opportunities
The institutional hearing and submitted documents may support several future directions.
1. Contributing to national AI policy
MyZubster can share practical lessons about consent, provenance, human oversight and transparent AI-assisted workflows.
2. Developing controlled pilots
The documentation can support small demonstrations involving circular water systems, environmental monitoring, absorbent hygiene products and public-interest services.
3. Scientific validation
Universities and research organizations could help define methodologies, evaluate results and distinguish measured outcomes from estimates.
4. Public-sector experimentation
Public administrations could evaluate limited, reversible pilots with explicit governance, privacy and procurement boundaries.
5. LIFE 2027 alignment
Institutional feedback can help refine the future LIFE proposal, consortium structure, indicators, responsibilities and pilot acceptance criteria.
6. Interoperable evidence infrastructure
MyZubster can explore shared event schemas, signatures, evidence hashes and verification interfaces that do not depend on a single blockchain or platform.
7. Open-source participation
Developers can contribute tests, adapters, accessibility improvements, documentation, threat models and verification tools.
None of these opportunities is guaranteed.
They depend on technical review, qualified participants, governance, funding, legal assessment and formal commitments.
Immediate Roadmap
The next steps are:
- prepare the presentation for the September hearing;
- collect feedback on the submitted documents;
- complete the full AHP event chain;
- implement QR/NFC batch linkage;
- test duplicate scans and custody transfers;
- add public Merkle-proof verification;
- implement correction and key-rotation workflows;
- test failed-anchor recovery;
- define measurable environmental indicators;
- identify qualified pilot operators and independent reviewers;
- strengthen OAuth account controls;
- keep GitHub, Linear and project documentation synchronized.
Building with Honest Status Labels
MyZubster is experimental.
Some components are implemented. Some have been tested. Some are documented proposals. Others belong to the project’s fictional universe.
Our responsibility is to keep those categories visible.
The goal is not to use AI, blockchain, sustainability or the metaverse as labels.
The goal is to build systems where people can inspect the evidence, understand the limitations and participate in improving the result.
