ChatGPT Built Me A Linux GUI! (Tkinter)

Introducing GPT2PDF ... generated entirely by prompting ChatGPT and making some light-touch edits to the Python!

Is it going to win any prizes for UI design?

Unlikely!

Does it look like it's an experimentary package from Windows 95?

Yes, it does.

But it was generated (in Python, Tkinter) almost entirely by prompting ChatGPT 4o.

User Process

  • Initial creation prompt
  • Testing out iterative versions
  • Follow-up prompts requesting bug fixes, amendments

(Working on adapting to make it a proper / full-fledged GUI for Fedora Linux but for now there's a working Python script in this repository).
