I think the same applies to IDE's and code editors too. I work with some more veteran developers who prefer to use Notepad++ for programming. I'm going stick with Visual Studio Code I like my autocomplete and a billion extensions to style it up π
What is wrong with Vi?
Whats Vi? Do you mean Emacs? My comment was a bit sarcastic by the way developers can use whatever tools they want we all have our preferences.
Vi and Vim are command line editors. Quick and useful, my personal preference.
