|---|---|---|---|
| Day 1 | Blog | Publish pillar content | Full piece |
| Day 2 | Twitter/X | Thread (5-8 tweets) | Key points + stats |
| Day 3 | Long-form post | Core thesis + story | |
| Day 5 | Newsletter | Summary + exclusive take | Highlights + commentary |
| Day 7 | YouTube/TikTok | Short video (60-90s) | Best framework or stat |

Usage Tips
- Always adapt, never copy-paste. Each platform has different norms — a LinkedIn post that reads like a tweet will underperform both.
- Start with your highest-reach platform and work backward to smaller channels.
- Track which derivatives drive traffic back to the pillar content — double down on those paths.
- Batch your repurposing. Set aside 90 minutes after publishing each pillar piece to atomize and schedule all derivatives at once.
Best Practices
- Wait 24-48 hours between derivatives on the same platform to avoid audience fatigue.
- Add unique value in every derivative — a new angle, personal take, or additional context.
- Use the effort/impact score to skip low-value repurposing paths. Not every format fits every source.
- Repurpose your best performers again in 3-6 months. Evergreen content has a long tail.
- Credit the original when cross-posting: "I wrote about this in depth here → [LINK]."
