The new year is a great time to look forward to learning new things, resetting, and finding new experiences. What are you most excite about in 2023? It might be a conference, meetup, community experience, a new job, or learning something new.

I'm looking at getting more into sharing on Unity gamedev in C# and applying AI to gamedev. I wrote a simple robot combat game for my nephew over the weekend and recently finished a course on applying deep reinforcement learning to Unity gamedev.
That sounds awesome! Weβre homeschooling my 13yo next semester and heβs been interested in learning unity. We have the playground downloaded.
In terms of work...
I hope to grow a following on my blog @ medium (I started today), learn more about javascript, reactJs, NextJs, and nodejs aswell as php.
Also, I am going to try to have secondary projects for both learning and extra cash.
Short version: become a better developer.
On the personal side I will try to have another hobby than the gym, and try to enjoy more being alone.
This year I read "The subtle art of not giving a F*fk" which is a book I recommend, and started reading on stoicism and I hope I can apply some of that to my day to day.
So are you telling me I need another hobby too π€£
Until one (or more) of the hobbies becomes the income π
In this new year I'm programming to create a new app using artificial intelligence with some friends. I'm so excited about that.
That sounds awesome! Can you share more details?
I look forward to exploring Azure cloud in 2023.
Anything in particular?
My passion and interest is with AI and Data. I feel DP 100 will be a good place to start then want to pick up IoT followed by Data Engineering. Long path to travel but looking forward to this learning journey.
Doubling down on what I have learnt plus adding things from the tech-to-learn list... and more cloud stuff.
And joining my ML learning group, right?
Nothing like good peer pressure to help yopu grow..... if @gantlaborde will be there fine.
I'm always watching Nerando... always....
