Use the 4090 for:

- Stable Diffusion and FLUX workflows
- prototype inference and notebooks
- anything where price matters more than massive VRAM headroom
When the A100 wins
Use the A100 when:
- the workload does not fit comfortably in 24GB VRAM
- heavier fine-tuning needs more memory headroom
- avoiding multi-GPU complexity matters
- throughput plus 80GB VRAM changes the workflow in a real way
What most people get wrong
They compare prestige, not workload fit.
The 4090 looks "consumer."
The A100 looks "serious."
