SquareX - online virtual space

Sometimes we get URLs or files from the internet that we don't know what they are.

SquareX gives us the following services:

  • The virtual space with the web browser Really – browser in the browser with a high speed of the internet But if you visit a bad resource, nothing happens with your machine.
  • Virtual file opening – again on the virtual machine, so… no Trojans viruses on your own machine
  • You can scan all attachments using an integration with Gmail if you are not high paranoid.
  • Or open all downloaded files on the virtual space before using them
  • You can use the Square without any extensions by going to https://public.sqrx.com/web/ – the best choice for cases when we don't want to install a lot of extensions
  • And as a little bonus – the SquareX provides us a disposable email address 🤪

I'm currently preparing a large note about web application security.

Only small notes will be posted here for a while.
