Oh my goodness! I really didn't see that coming. This was my first-ever challenge, and I actually won it! I can't believe it, especially among so many amazing participants and submissions.
I can't thank you enough. I truly put my soul into this project, and it feels incredible to see it lead to a win.
And congratulations to all the winners and runner-ups as well. Let's go! 🚀🎉

hi you are so nice
Huge congrats to @georgekobaidze , @pengeszikra , @cturner8 !Incredible projects. 🔥
Huge congratulations to all the winners. I LOVED looking at the submissions and seeing your creativity!
Honestly, I could only spend about a day on this over the weekend because things were pretty busy, so I went in with zero expectations. I mostly wanted to experiment a bit, learn something new, and see what I could build with the GitHub Copilot CLI.
Big thanks to the judges and the community for the support and encouragement. These challenges are such a great way to try new ideas and see what everyone else in the community is building.
Also, really grateful for the Copilot Pro+ subscription. Excited to keep building with it.
Looking forward to the next challenges. Happy coding! 🚀
Something like that IN A DAY is absolutely incredible! 👏
Thanks, @georgekobaidze ❤️. I really just wanted to build something for the community, especially for folks who face the same struggles I did but don’t have easy access to resources.
AND Congrats to Metal Birds Watch for taking the top spot. Really well deserved! 👏
Also, wanted to mention this before, but it slipped my mind. I had the chance to attend this talk a few years back, and it was really good. If you like functional programming and planes, this might interest you:

And you did build something special, and for a great purpose too.
Thanks a lot! I really gave it my absolute best. It was a hell of an experience as well. I might even write about it sometime.
Oh, this is exactly the kind of content I usually look for. Thank you! I'll definitely check it out.
One day!!! That's so amazing!!!
Thank you!!! This was one of funnest challenges I've participated in. I am obsessed with copilot CLI now. This was a fierce competition and I'm honored to be anywhere near the top! @trickell - best person ever to work on projects with. We fed off of each other's excitement. Looking forward to the next one!
And congrats to the challenge winners! 💻💎🎉
Congratulations! 🎉 Your project was wonderful!
Yours was so so cool!!
Amazing! Thanks for recognizing my project amongst the runner-ups! Was a really fun challenge to participate in!
The level of creativity amongst all the projects is very inspiring. Well done everyone.
Oh wow ! This was the first challenge I took part in, and when I saw both the volume and quality of other submissions, I never thought I'd make it lol !
Congrats to everyone, and I discovered so many cool tools along the way :)
Stoked to finish as a Runner-Up! Big congrats to all the winners and finalists. It’s been an incredible experience, and looking at the winning projects, all I can say is: they truly earned it. Makes me even prouder to be part of such a talented lineup! 🥈🔥
Wow, this was my first time writing a post on DEV. I can't belive my passion project made Runner-Up. I think I'll take this as a reminder of the value in sharing your work and your words. Congratulations to the winners! ❤️
Congrats to everyone! 🎉
@jess , thanks to you and the team for all the hard work behind the scenes. Sifting through 400+ entries is a mountain of work. Really appreciate the recognition as a runner-up!
Thank you very much for the runners-up position! This was my first time participating in a challenge! Looking at the submissions, there were some awesome projects created by other devs! Im glad I can even stand among them! (:
Amazing articles. Congrats to the winners and runner-ups. 🥳
Congratulations to all the winners! It was an awesome challenge.
@jess I have completed all the requirements but have not received my badge yet! Could a moderator please look into this for me? Thanks!

Glad to have made it here
@dnszlsk just want to make sure you saw the email we sent to the address associated with your DEV profile. If you'd like your 1-year GitHub Copilot Pro+ subscription, please email us back.
Hey, hello, I don’t think I have…
can you try in the contact modal on my portflio ? kewin.io/
Thanks for the dev.to community, this place is truly inspiring. Congratulations all of participant this was a exeptional interesting challange, I saw lot of great project.
Thanks to my wife, who is care me and may be right that I'm a little autistic, and I'll take a test.
R.I.P. Flash which is give the original idea.
By the way, this problem is deeper than I first saw. I think this algorithm is the backbone of two-dimensional vision. It is capable to solve the minotaur problem too.
Finally thx my mentor, the greatest hacker of all times, who is written: "God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness." Gen1, this is a creation of first binary language where strictly separate the 1 and 0. The key for His sourcebook is 1Jhon1.
Thrilled to be a runner-up! 🎉 This was a genuinely fun challenge — building with GitHub Copilot CLI was a great experience and it's amazing to see all the creative submissions from the community. Congrats to all the winners and fellow runner-ups! 🙌
Quick question for the @DEVteam — could you point me in the right direction for collecting the runner-up prize? I haven't received any communication yet. Thanks! 😊
@berkslv and @yashksaini - you should have just received an email to the address associated with your DEV account!
just asking : I believe you guys wait for all winners and runner-ups to reply so you can hand it over to the GitHub team in one go, right ?
otherwise, how long should we wait after responding before receiving the price ? I know things take always some time so I don't wanna bother anyone for no reason 😅
@edm115 Exactly right - I'm hoping to have an update for everyone by end of next week! Don't hesitate to follow up if you don't hear from us by then.
And what about the DEV++ membership ?
Oh yes I also am in similar situation, how can we recieve runner up prize
Congratulations to everyone 🤩🥳
Congratulations to all! Love to see these creative and inspiring projects.
Congratulations
Congratulations, everyone! 👏🎉
I was very happy to be ranked as one of the runner ups in the first programming challenge I ever participated in! 🎈
This only increases my motivation to move forward with this project and develop other OSS projects. 👨💻
Good luck, everyone! ☺️
Really happy to see FixForward listed among the runner-ups. This challenge was a lot of fun and pushed me to experiment more with GitHub Copilot in the terminal. Congrats to all the winners and participants!
Metal Birds Watch is such a neat idea — tracking planes from the terminal is the kind of project that makes CLI tools fun again. 400+ submissions is wild for a CLI-focused challenge.
Sad that I didn't win where I built something unique in Bluetooth and ESP 32.
Congrats to the winners 🎉
Huge congrats to @georgekobaidze @pengeszikra @cturner8 🎉
Congratulations to winners and also who made it into the top 25 — some really impressive work there 👏
I’ll admit I’m a bit disappointed not seeing my submission in top 25. I spent quite a bit of time building and documenting it, and I genuinely believed it brought something useful to the community.
That said, participating in the challenge was still a great experience.
For anyone interested, my submission is still live and I’d love to hear feedback from the community. Always open to improving and building better.
Congratulations to everyone 🎉
Congratulations to all the winners and participants! :)
The variety of ideas here is amazing — CLI tools, automation, AI assistants, and creative developer utilities.
Challenges like this really show how quickly ideas can turn into working tools. Great work everyone.
Huge congrats to all the winners!!!
This challenge was a blast and seeing everyone's creativity was truly inspiring.
@jess I noticed my profile is still missing the badge for my submission. I’ve double-checked all the requirements and everything seems in order! Could you or the team take a quick look?

Thanks again for the great event!
Congrats to winners
congrats everyone
Celebrating the winners is great, but I’d rather see more focus on evaluating Copilot’s impact on code quality and security. Shiny CLI demos are cool, but robust tooling and ethical guidelines matter more than hacks that win a challenge.
Good morning
Congrats to everyone who joined the challenge!
Thanks for the runner up! Truly have fun with these dev challenges!
Congratulations to all participants
Woah! Congratulations to all the winners! 🏆
amazing
Congratulations to all 🥳 . Let's go! 🚀🎉
Congrate to you !
amazing, congrats! 🙌
