With this, if you are interested in contributing to open-source. I would like to invite you to Swirl Search to contribute. It's a search engine written in Python.

Awesome stuff, Dusan! Your blog looks great. πŸ™Œ

Just to note that if you wanna easily re-share content from it on DEV, we have a feature called Publishing to DEV Community from RSS that can be set up via your settings here. Basically, it allows you to regularly import content from your blog onto DEV, where you can make any adjustments and then post away.

If you're trying to build a following here, I would recommend siphoning out your posts day by day, versus sharing all of your blog content at once. Reason being is that the home feed kinda favors newness, so if you drop all your posts at once, you're less likely to be seen by as many folks. In any case, definitely do whatever you'd prefer!

I hope this guidance is helpful and that you dig being part of the DEV community. Looking forward to seeing your posts!

Oh interesting I'll keep that in mind, I was thinking to just post separate things, maybe not even post much on dev.to for now, I would just try to contribute to other peoples content by providing feedback..

Thanks!!

Have you explored softr.io? It's an excellent no-code solution. Alternatively, Salesforce development offers another efficient avenue to create applications swiftly, bypassing the complexities of coding and integration hassles. Both of these options are incredibly user-friendly and convenient.

Hi @alphonce_jordan_15af0b3a6

That's great to hear. If you want your application to target multiple platforms. I think it is good to go with React Native. To have complete control over your app and faster development. Flutter is also a great choice. As @silver2810 suggests it is also a good idea to utilise no-code platforms. If you do not have experience with coding.

Hey Rachel,

Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm excited to be part of this community.

Email marketing is a fantastic tool for connecting with your audience, and it's great that you're looking to get started. Here are a few key tips to consider:

  1. Audience Segmentation: One of the first things to think about is segmenting your email list. This means dividing your subscribers into groups based on their interests or behaviors. It allows you to send more targeted and relevant content, which often leads to better engagement.
  2. Compelling Content: Your email content should be valuable and engaging. Offer useful tips, industry insights, or exclusive offers to your subscribers. Make sure your subject lines are attention-grabbing but not clickbait.
  3. Mobile Optimization: A significant portion of emails are opened on mobile devices. So, ensure that your emails are mobile-friendly in terms of design and layout.
  4. Testing and Analytics: Don't be afraid to experiment. Try different email designs, subject lines, and sending times. Use email analytics to see what's working and what isn't. Then, refine your strategy based on those insights.
  5. Consistency: Set a consistent sending schedule. Whether it's weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, your subscribers should know when to expect your emails.
  6. Personalization: If possible, use your subscriber's name and personalize the content based on their preferences or past interactions with your emails.
  7. A/B Testing: Try A/B testing to compare two versions of your email to see which one performs better. It's a great way to optimize your campaigns.
  8. Quality Over Quantity: It's not about sending as many emails as possible. It's about sending the right emails to the right people at the right time.
  9. Compliance: Be aware of email marketing laws, like GDPR or CAN-SPAM, and make sure you're compliant. Always provide an option for subscribers to opt out.
  10. Engage and Learn: Engage with your subscribers. Ask for feedback, run surveys, and learn from your audience. Their insights can be invaluable.

Remember, email marketing is a journey of learning and optimizing. Don't be discouraged if you don't see immediate results. Over time, with dedication and a focus on providing value to your subscribers, you'll see the benefits.

Feel free to ask if you have any specific questions or need more guidance. I'm here to help!

Best,
Kevin

Hello Dev.To,

Good Day.

My name is Chuck and I am currently an Application Support Analyst working to become a full time software engineer. In addition to that, I enjoy coding for Amazon Alexa. I had heard about this community on the freecodecamp podcast. I love that with software engineering we can create something that did not exist before. It is an exercise for the creative side and engineering side of my brain!

I always want to ensure to give back. So here is something that I learned yesterday. I was yesterday years old, when I discovered you can launch certain tabs on Google Chrome each time you launch it. You can do this by going to Settings->On Start Up.
