All wins count -- big or small 🎉

Eating more fruits than before.
I tried migrating a somewhat complex WordPress site to Astro. Here’s what I learned: porting the structure (posts, custom post types, custom fields, etc.) is neither complicated nor time-consuming—however, recreating the UI exactly from scratch is a major challenge. Quite honestly, I’d rather start with an existing template than try to replicate the original exactly 🙃
I graduated from codex academy
Congratulations 🎊
Congrats william💙
I finally started a blog I'd been wanting to for a while.
I've been playing for a while, so I thought it'd be a good idea to keep an ad-free reference site for guitar theory and related things. I think it's the coolest project I've started so far.
This week I made sick thumbnail designs.

But fighting js bugs for now since I decided to make custom components for fretboards; should have stuck to react-fretboard or something.. It's been less than two weeks since launch, but I'm super happy with the progress on blogs and how it's turning out. Esp, the blogs, here's one on C major scale if anybody's interested.
Her AI Studio was accepted into Google for Nonprofits, and let me tell you that was a STRUGGLE! So I'm happy about it as now we can provision emails.
Congrats!
Managed to cook up another article and video for a DEV challenge just before my flight. Barely made it in time, but totally worth it!
Oh by the way, I just surpassed 10K followers. Thanks every one of you who’s subscribed to my average content (at best) 😄
Congratulations 🎉
Thank you!✨
Posted about how Dart 3.13 primary constructors simplify any remaining boilerplate for BlocSignal, reducing the developer friction even further, and gotten great feedback on it. Timely, as Dart 3.13 just hit stable!
Joined the DEV Bug Smash Challenge!! Haven't joined a challenge/hackathon from DEV in a while so this once the perfect time since I squashed a bug on our work site a few weeks ago!

Finally liberated from the old company (read: laid off). Giving myself a few days off.🤣🤣🤣
I liberated myself from a draining job yesterday, and I'm giving myself an eternity off! 😁
Then we're both on sabbatical now. Cheers 🍻
Cheers! 🍻
you weren't laid off, you were promoted to Client
First promotion in years, and it came with a pay cut 😄
I was invited to speak at another court conference about AI in the California Courts! This summit will be focused on Operations and AI and I'm super excited to review the brief so I can start refining my presentation. 3rd speaking invitation this year!
That's awesome, congrats! Do you have recordings of your other talks?
@jess Thanks!! Sadly I don't but here I am at the podium for my first presentation at a national court conference in February. 😀

My win this week is probably something much simpler: having a little time to actually enjoy life. 😅
After a pretty crazy few months of internships, hackathons, projects, interviews, and finally getting placed, I'm finally in a position where I can slow down a little.
So this week I've been trying to spend more time with family and friends, catch up on things I kept postponing, and just enjoy having some free time without constantly thinking about the next deadline.
Getting placed was obviously a huge milestone, but honestly, having some time to breathe and enjoy the people around me feels like a win too. ❤️
I did a really cool talk with my team about a devsecops tools we have created and now are maintaining :
My win was entering a weekend challenge,, then discovering 4 or 5 days later the challenge project only worked locally and not for others... then finally rectifying it into using supabase as a backend and have it working properly. That part was the win. and also a massive fail. Lots of lessons learned, especially, checking the output of my AI code.

I begin an AI edu project.😊
Just on time on sunday evening !!!!
Actually, I faced a number of issues. Not only did I face a mysterious issue I later solved with version pinning, I found out only today that my infrastructure was offline because I was on a free tier. Luckily, I resolved all and my programming week is ending much better than it started.
My win this week was, that I extended my knowledge on SQLite and the fantastic things I can build with it.
I found out, ways to transfer SQLite queries written on a DB, to Power BI via the the proper ODBC driver, and how to pass into Power BI, SQL Indexes or SQL Views with the help of Power Query parameters.
That was really "another world"🌏️ for me.
I am far far away🗺️ from the most of you in this platform. I consider you all some kind of "IT Demi Gods" a sort of "Age of Mythology" 💫
characters, so what I felt by learning such things was fantastic.🎆
(no advertising, just a compliment)
Getting done the Opus 5 blog series, with the final piece: How to fix the verbose output
Hey my win this week was finally getting a stubborn technical issue sorted after a lot of testing and debugging. Nothing huge, but seeing everything work as expected after the struggle was definitely satisfying. 😄
Occasionally the small wins are the ones that keep you motivated.
I actually made a non dev thing this week, so I'm in NCC , as we Celebrateted our 80th Independence day the past Saturday, we have worked so hard for the parade and we made up a good show the day before Sunday.
Techy: I made my first dev post

my win: I launched MealWise this week — a tiny ios app that turns a normal meal description into one practical recipe.
now doing the far less glamorous part: trying to get the first real people to find and use it.
Designed, tested, and about to launch a Prediction Engine for Gambling.
Every type of gambling I am going to be capable of profiting from, and it was 100% Zero-cost~
Thanks for asking, happy to get that off my chest xD
a bit late for 'the week' but i've finally installed kali and fedora together in my notebook =D
I've realized how much it hurts my wife when I show low expectations for her career, even if I was just being realistic. I need to learn to support her with a more optimistic mindset.
After more than a year and a half of recovering from burnout I get to start working again albeit I'll need to find a new company to work for and start with reduced hours but it's massive progress.
I joined the gym today🥰
I've finally started publishing my work on dev.io—something I've been meaning to do for a while now!
Finished the tests on my open source project for implementing authentication systems easily. Next phase is to get developers to test it as well and join in further improving it.
Achieved first runner-up position in our company's internal hackathon.
[UPDATE] Production-Ready FastAPI Backend Suite with Advanced RAG Architecture & SEO Automation
Finally launched a side project I've been vibe-coding for a while. Feels awesome! 🙌
I don't even think I'm proud of anything, unfortunately 😪😪😪
