This looks soo good!
Thanks! ππΌπ
The win for the week is that I am studying more. Just need to retain what I have studied and to keep it up.
@michaeltharrington share your win(s) with us.
Let's all get inspired!!!
Shoot, that's a good question! I feel like my win was kinda subtle this week... I steadily ate well, slept well, and worked out daily too. It was a good healthy week for me.
Aside from that, we had a broken disposal and then our sink got clogged... we were dealing with it all weekend and finally got someone out to fix it on Wednedsay. Yeah, not the most exciting, but I realized just how frequently I use my sink and it's so nice to have it back, lol.
Thankya for asking, Stefan! Best wishes on your studies. π
No problem. Sharing is caring. Glad your sink is fixed. Plus you had bigger wins...sleeping, eating, working out. Sticking to your goals...that's what's up!!!
Registered for the first class of my next degree: Bachelor of Applied Science in Software Application Development. Massive progress in my self-guided Python education. Major headway in Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Congratulations!!! π₯
I had the BEST interview today. I did great, and I am really proud of myself.
Wish me luck!
Woot! Good luck, Pachi. π
Good luck
3 big things:
Last night I sent the draft for Chapter 1 of Data Science in .NET with Polyglot Notebooks on to the publisher. The project isn't getting a ton of my time yet as I work on other priorities including my computer vision course, but it's nice to see the start of a new book.
Oh! I also got started with HackTheBox this week learning some offensive cybersecurity in a safe and legal way. It's really eye-opening. I managed to hack a training box to exploit an unpatched vulnerability to get access, then carry out privilege escalation to gain root.
The world is a scary place.
I started using Godot and started making a game with it!
I was warned about an exploit since once of our dependencies at Codename One uses jdesktop.org and that domain elapsed. So I bought the domain and saved on the effort of fixing many dependencies.
I was accepted into the AWS Cloud Institute and started digging deep into the course work :)
Wrapping up the work for releasing my new product. It's a large update to my existing course, a V2.0, if you will. Releasing it to the public next week.
I'm actually getting the hang of codewars, doing maybe two or three at a time and I'm making a calculator just doing the small steps before putting it together.
Publish two articles related to "AI".

Return to work after my vacation period. Blue Monday was too much blue for me π
Mmm. Probably did more studying than programming this week.
But, I did get a basic DirectX 11 Renderer working, and my god is it better designed than OpenGL, even though the row-major math is kind of dumb but you can flip it using XMMatrixTranspose().
This week I was for the first time responsible for the onboarding of a new teacher in the programming academy I work at! It was huge, since I love mentoring other devs and make them feel welcome, it was a great experience for me :D
I also published the contributing file on a project I'm getting ready to make fully open source, you can find it here if you wish!
github.com/Giuliano1993/serverManNode
I want to push this a lot in the next months, so hop in if you wish!
This week I had an interview that I throughly I crushed but actually didnβt so Iβm winning by trying to process what went wrong and not repeat the same mistakes
My wins for the week:
Develop a go program that reads my gas, power and water pdf bills and creates and entry in a SQLite, then graph it in Grafana
Also learned to "use" the hclwrite lib from HashiCorp
