This is a rudimentary program meant to emulate the game connect4 for my first project in the Compsci_Certificate track on CodeAcademy. Programmed it solely based on the rules of the game and what I had learned so far in python from the course track:
The code does the following:
There are player objects from a Player class that interact through the game. Player positions are tracked through a gameplay_tracker. players can win vertically(forwards and backwards), horizontally, and vertically. There is an option to exit the game. While the net has many examples including very appealing connect 4 example in make python talk book, I wanted to use only what I had learned so far wihtout using graphical objects/library such as tytinker. There some kinks I am still working out that I have found if I try to expand the game.

Very good lessons learned type of exercise. This is early in my programming aspiration (on and off but keep coming back to it...(also following OSSU)) Plan to work through the examples that use "guis" to start getting a better handle on how to create similar games.
