Hey DEV! π
I'm excited to share a project I've been building: EchoedWild πΎπ
EchoedWild is a wildlife education and conservation platform focused on making information about animals, endangered species, and conservation more accessible and engaging for students, educators, and wildlife enthusiasts.
I've been building the project around modern web development, with a focus on performance, accessibility, clean UI, and a great user experience.
π» What I'm building with
- HTML, CSS & JavaScript
- Git & GitHub
- Cloudflare
- APIs and web infrastructure
- Responsive web design
- Accessibility and performance
π What's next?
I'm working toward opening EchoedWild up to more contributors.
I'm especially interested in connecting with students who are interested in technology and development and would like to contribute to a real project.
We're looking for students interested in:
- π» Web development
- π¨ UI/UX
- βοΈ APIs and backend development
- π§ͺ Testing & QA
- π± Mobile development
- π Wildlife research & educational content
- βΏ Accessibility
- π Documentation
You don't need to be an expert. Beginners and students who are still learning are welcome. The goal is to build something real, learn from each other, and make EchoedWild better.
π Interested in joining the team?
If you're a student interested in becoming an EchoedWild contributor, you can email:
π§ contribute@echoedwild.com
Tell us a little about what you're interested in working on, what technologies you're learning or already know, and any projects or GitHub work you'd like to share.
Please don't send passwords, API keys, private keys, or other sensitive information.
Contributing doesn't automatically mean joining the official EchoedWild Developer & Tester Team. Students who consistently contribute and collaborate may be considered for the team by the project maintainers.

I've also set up contribution guidelines, issue templates, a Code of Conduct, and a GitHub organization to make collaboration easier.
I'm excited to see where EchoedWild goes next.
Let's build something that helps people understand and protect wildlife. ππΎ
