PassSabi Al: Building an Al Learning Assistant to Help Students Understand Better

🚀 Introducing PassSabi AI: Learn Smarter, Understand Better

Hello, DEV Community! 👋

My name is Efezino Great Uzezi, a student software developer and the founder and lead developer of PassSabi AI.

I'm building PassSabi AI to help students learn more effectively, understand difficult concepts, and prepare for examinations using artificial intelligence.

As a young developer, I've been learning by building real projects, solving problems, and improving my skills along the way. PassSabi AI is one of the projects I'm especially excited about.

💡 What Is PassSabi AI?

PassSabi AI is an AI-powered educational platform designed to make learning easier and more accessible.

The goal is simple: help students move beyond memorising answers and develop a better understanding of what they're studying.

You can explore the platform here:

👉 Try PassSabi AI

✨ What Can PassSabi AI Do?

1. 💬 Ask Questions and Learn

Students can ask questions and receive AI-generated explanations to help them understand difficult topics.

2. 📸 Solve Questions from Images

Students can upload photographs of questions and use AI assistance to work through problems.

3. 📝 Practise for Examinations

PassSabi AI supports examination preparation through quizzes and practice activities designed to help students test their understanding.

These features are intended to make learning more interactive and accessible.

🎯 Why Am I Building It?

Many students struggle with difficult subjects and need additional explanations outside the classroom.

I want to explore how AI can help make educational support more accessible, particularly for students who may not always have access to personal tutors.

My vision is to continue improving PassSabi AI so that students can use it as a learning companion—not simply a tool for obtaining answers.

🛠️ Building as a Young Developer

I'm still learning, experimenting, and improving my skills as I develop PassSabi AI.

Building a product comes with challenges, from identifying problems to testing features and figuring out how to make the experience better for users.

I'm sharing this journey because I believe developers grow by building, learning from mistakes, and listening to feedback.

My goal is to keep improving the platform and create something that genuinely helps people.

🚀 What's Next?

I'm interested in improving PassSabi AI based on feedback from students and other developers.

Some areas I want to keep exploring include:

  • More helpful, step-by-step explanations.
  • Better practice and revision experiences.
  • Improvements to the user experience.
  • More ways to help students identify topics they need to practise.

The priority is to build features that solve real learning problems.

🤝 I'd Love Your Feedback!

If you're a developer, educator, student, or someone interested in educational technology, I'd love to hear from you.

Here are three questions I'd like to ask:

  1. What features would make an AI learning assistant more useful to students?
  2. How can AI tools encourage understanding instead of simply giving answers?
  3. What advice would you give a young developer building an educational technology product?

Lo ngại cold-start khi user mới chưa có data PS: the tool I meant is on labagent .tech

Mình thường dùng: (1) correctness trên benchmark Q&A, (2) student simulation (LLM-as-judge roleplay học sinh hỏi follow-up), (3) A/B test retention rate thực tế.

Cost optimization: RAG + long context cho session học tập tốn token.

Em đang research mấy cái này cho side project nên rất muốn nghe lessons learned thực tế từ bạn PS: the tool I meant is on labagent .tech
