To put it simple
<b>tag just marks text as bold,<strong>does the same but also marks it for screen readers and crawlers to point them that text inside this tag is important, that helps with SEO and accessibility optimizations. The same can be said about<i>and<em>(marks as italic), however<em>is not that strong as<strong>))))
