Hi everyone,
I am working in the technical support field for the last 10 years. We mainly support customers with their e-commerce website and HTML, CSS, REST API, Liquid, and basic Javascript.
For the last 2 years, I have been making internal tools for our agents and have delivered more than 6 projects successfully, without any complaints.
I used the MEAN stack (MongoDB, Angular 6 to 9, Node JS, Express) with JWT, Passport, and even Okta Integration for development. I know the basics of AWS as well.
For the last few months, I am trying to switch from Technical Support to Front End Development, without success (no internal option, so trying externally). I failed in my interviews on some basic questions, even though I was able to explain the entire project on Github and some advanced JS concepts like ES6 features, event bubbling, etc.
I have gone through JS basics many times, but still no success. I worked on questions after every failure but still failing.
What am I missing or doing wrong?
