# Preface:
This is the first book I finished reading this year. I usually take my kids to Eslite Bookstore to read, and it often takes an afternoon. The kids will read all kinds of storybooks, and adults sometimes read magazines and monthlies, and sometimes they will read some books recommended on the table. This book is one of the books I saw recommended on the table when I took my kids to Eslite to read today, and I felt it was quite interesting. Also, because Japanese books tend to have less text and are thinner, I finished reading it quickly.
# Thoughts
The author, according to what he wrote, was originally a fat guy, a middle-aged man who would be out of breath even running a hundred meters. But because he was diagnosed with "autonomic nervous system disorder," he wanted to alleviate the related symptoms through outdoor exercise, so he chose running as his exercise habit.
The whole book mainly talks about running from the perspective of an otaku, interspersed with interesting gags like how he runs especially fast when he sees a beautiful woman, and that running should be like training in Dragon Quest.
However, although the whole book does not mention related running techniques (really not! Neither pacing techniques nor how to train are mentioned). Instead, the whole book mentions that he often gets injured while running, twisting his ankles, and even having knee discomfort. Even later on, there were withdrawal symptoms from running (laughing to death). But the whole book can really explain that running can positively change a person, and it can turn an otaku into a person who can finish a full marathon (Note: 42 kilometers of long-distance running). This is really a book full of love.
# Content Introduction:
From the beginning, a nocturnal, sickly, and literary writer who was almost dead just from running 100 meters,
all the way to becoming addicted to running, a runner who would have withdrawal symptoms if he didn't run,
and finally achieved the feat of completing a full marathon in 4 hours and 03 minutes, a sweaty and bitter talk by an uncle.
This is not a running exercise book that teaches you how to run the best results,
but a hilarious chattering conversation with the self of a middle-aged man after each run.
."Running, you'll lose weight. What others spend a whole book talking about dieting, I can say it in one sentence."
."As long as you run behind a beautiful girl, you can run good results."
Running, getting injured, running, getting injured, still running...
Why do people run? What is the meaning of running?
A running essay that laughs and pants is born!
※Note※ This book has almost no practical advice on running!
-Rainbow Bridge RUN-
After starting to run, I realized that the narrow pedestrian walkway has a high-speed road where cars are speeding on one side, and on the other side is Tokyo Bay, where you will be buried in the sea if you fall.
-Japan Imperial Palace RUN-
Looking forward to meeting the running beauties who are often seen in news interviews, but only met middle-aged uncles who are about the same age as myself.
-Genuine Godzilla RUN-
After examining the landing and rampage route of the second form of Godzilla's juvenile "Kamata-kun," complete the pilgrimage run.
-RUN with my son-
My son ran out of sight in an instant, and when I saw him again, he was leaning on the bridge railing on Meguro Street chatting with friends on LINE...
-Yokohama Marathon RUN-
Excited to shout when I saw the actress Ayame Goriki standing at the starting point, and when I ran closer, it turned out to be the Yokohama female mayor.
-Kanazawa Marathon RUN-
While running, thinking about the salt pile that people reach out to replenish at the water station, probably a lot of the runners' sweat has been mixed into the salt...
"I won't use the marathon to compare to life! Absolutely not!"
