This little feature is very clever~ I like it very much.

Some thoughts

Google has also added on-device LLM to its own phones, and I first saw a few good applications.

  • The phone notepad is really practical, but I'm also curious about whether there will be privacy issues.

Google held its annual Made By Google conference, launching the Pixel 9 series phones, Pixel Watch 3 watches, and Pixel Buds Pro 2 headphones, and integrating Gemini AI technology.

Highlights:

  • Gemini Live Voice Conversation feature goes live: Allows users to have natural voice conversations with Gemini AI and choose the response voice. Currently only supports English, available to Gemini Advanced subscribers.
  • Pixel 9 series phones: Equipped with the Tensor G4 chip, supporting multiple AI features, including Pixel Weather, Call Notes, Pixel Screenshots, Pixel Studio, etc. The camera and video recording functions have also been upgraded, adding AI features such as Add Me, Made You Look, and Magic Editor.
  • Pixel 9 Pro Fold: The first foldable screen phone, equipped with 16GB of memory, and features the Pixel Pro Camera.
  • Pixel Watch 3: Continues the classic curved design, adding the Lost of Pulse Detection feature, which can detect the user's pulse and send an emergency notification.
