I'm new to the digital product space and I've just published my first few items onto my Gumroad page, it's just a few simple things that I think could be useful to some fellow developers potentially, but I'm running into the problem of getting that very first sale. I'm trying to do the best I can to promote myself, but without a pre-existing audience or following, it's hard not feel like I'm fighting an uphill battle. Is there anyone else out there who's already been down this road, and if so, is there any advice or knowledge you'd feel generous enough to share with a newcomer? I'm working on creating python toolkits that help automate busywork for developers, and complete starter kits that can help get others up and running quicker by taking care of most of the boilerplate code for things like API integrations for AI and things like that, stuff that I already have some expertise in and have myself struggled through the pain of that very first setup. Thank you to anyone who reads this, and if you'd consider leaving me any feedback, here's my Gumroad page and stuff! https://everbrightstudios.gumroad.com
If you could go back in time, and tell the version of you that's just getting started doing what you do now, what would you tell yourself?
Thank you to anyone who stops by, and I hope you have a wonderful day! :D

Your Python busywork toolkits and AI API starter kits solve different problems: one saves time on a recurring task, while the other makes a painful first setup less risky. Without an existing audience, I'd focus on one setup you've personally struggled through and show a small working example of exactly what the kit removes. I'd tell my earlier self to listen for developers describing that same pain in their own words; a first sale matters, but repeated demand tells you what to build next.
thank you so much for this and for reaching out! you're amazing and I really feel like this helps!
Glad it helped. A short demonstration of one real task from input to finished result would make the difference between those two kits much easier for a buyer to see. The clearer the first outcome is, the less explanation the launch needs.
