Have you ever heard this sentence "This library is no longer supported"?
I'm a junior developper and i have already make the mistake of download a package how's not supported... (Everyone make mistake :))
and we know that in every project, sometimes, we need to update package if they're not longer supported.
But instead of searching the numbers of downloader's or the day/year of the last commit. I found a great tools that reunited all together and suggest you alternative of package.
This tools call's openbase and i think it will optimise my time searching the right package.
This site reunited an overview (comment, rating, last commit, number of download), Documentation, Review (FeedBack interesting), Maintenance, Dependencies needed, versions and alternatives.

Open source is essential for application developers. It is unfortunate that Open Base has shut down. While looking for an alternative, came across kandi from Open Weaver.
