Google Gemini’s New Study Notebooks Make Learning More Personalized

Google is trying to make this easier with a new feature in the Gemini app called Study Notebooks.
Instead of giving every student the same learning approach, it creates a personalized study experience based on their own notes and learning materials.
Students can upload their syllabus, class notes, PDFs, and other resources into Gemini.
The AI then creates a diagnostic quiz to understand their current knowledge level and identify the areas where they need improvement.
After analyzing the results, Gemini creates short and focused lessons that help students strengthen their weaker areas.
Each lesson includes a follow-up quiz to check their understanding and adjust the learning path as they improve.
Students can also ask questions anytime during the learning process for additional explanations.
Another helpful feature is the progress dashboard.
It shows which topics students have completed, their strong areas, topics that need more attention, and subjects they have not started yet.
This makes it easier for students to track their progress and decide what to study next.
Google is also bringing Study Notebooks into exam preparation.
Students preparing for exams like the SAT can already use personalized study plans, while support for exams such as JEE, NEET, ACT, GRE, and ENEM is expected to expand soon.
The feature also connects with Notebook LM, allowing students to turn their study materials into useful revision resources like flashcards, summaries, and video overviews.
With Study Notebooks, Google Gemini is moving beyond simply answering questions.
It is helping students understand their learning needs, focus on important topics, and build a smarter study routine.
