HTML has become an increasingly useful format for working with large language models.
Models can generate complete HTML documents very quickly, but editing those documents manually can still be awkward.
HTML is normally edited through source code. That works well for development, but it is not always the best way to proofread a document, move content around, or make small editorial changes.
We built Ryker to make that process easier.
Ryker is a Chrome extension for visually editing HTML and Markdown while recording the changes you make as prompt-ready change requests.
The idea is simple:
You make the edits directly to the document.
Ryker records what changed as a text blob of machine-readable change requests.
When you are finished proofreading, you can hand those changes back to your agent for implementation.
That workflow influenced most of the feature decisions behind Ryker. The goal is not to replace the agent or permanently modify the source behind its back. The goal is to give you a more natural way to review the document while still allowing the agent to handle the final implementation.
Ryker supports two primary workflows:
- Edit any live HTML page directly in the browser.
- Load HTML and Markdown files from your hard drive into Ryker for inline editing.
As you work, Ryker records those edits so they can be exported as a prompt-ready change request.
