Most “Web3 challenges” are just marketing campaigns.
But this one actually caught my attention.
The Kadena Dev Challenge is currently live and it’s focused on one thing: getting developers to build real projects on Kadena.
If you’re into:
Smart contracts
Blockchain infrastructure
Building Web3 tools
Experimenting with new chains
This might be worth checking out.
From what I’ve seen, the challenge encourages developers to:
Build dApps or tools on Kadena
Experiment with the Pact smart contract language
Ship something functional
And of course… there are rewards for the best builds.
What I like about challenges like this is that they force you to stop reading about Web3 and actually build something.
Even if you don’t win anything, you walk away with:
a working project
experience with a new blockchain
something you can showcase in your portfolio.
If you’re curious, here’s the challenge page:

I’m thinking of building something small for it myself.
Anyone else here participating?
