TL;DR:

I made another URL shortener for the web 👻https://smolurl.com/

Why?

I have a silly experiment in mind where this eventually becomes some sort of marketing tool. The crazier part is I have plans to get people to actually use it, but it has to get a lot better than what it currently is right now. Let's call its current state an early alpha done in 30min on a Sunday night.

What's the stack?

  • Node (Express, typeorm)
  • mysql
  • nginx
  • redis

I'm sure most are shocked that I am not reaching for my good old friend PHP. Don't worry I have some other ideas in mind that will be PHP 😎
