I built a Claude Code skill that reconstructs historical monuments in 3D, stone by stone

I built something a little different from the usual productivity and coding skills.
It's called Monument.
The idea is simple: give Claude Code the name of a historical building, and it researches its history, reconstructs its architecture, and generates an interactive 3D model showing how it was built over time.

For example:
/monument Leaning Tower of Pisa, Italy

Claude then:

  1. Researches the building's history using historical sources.
  2. Finds its real footprint and architectural dimensions.
  3. Identifies the different construction phases.
  4. Generates the building using procedural 3D geometry.
  5. Creates an interactive timeline where you can watch the monument being built, piece by piece.
  6. Compares the result against reference photographs to improve accuracy. What makes this different from simply asking AI to generate a 3D model?

The goal isn't just visual generation.
Every construction phase is dated and sourced. The geometry is based on actual building measurements where available, and uncertain details are identified rather than presented as historical facts.

The entire experience runs locally using Three.js.
I've already created interactive reconstructions of the Leaning Tower of Pisa, the Eiffel Tower, and the Colosseum.

Try the interactive:

Install the skill:

It also supports Codex, OpenCode, and Antigravity.
The project is completely free and open source (MIT).

One limitation worth mentioning: detailed reconstructions can take 30–90 minutes, and the first result often needs refinement.
I'm sharing this because I'd love to see what other Claude Code users can build with it.

What monument should I try next?
