Apple's new touchscreen MacBook Pro lineup introduces M5 Pro and M5 Max configurations supporting up to 128GB of unified memory, 16TB of storage, and multiple external displays via Thunderbolt 5 ports.
Featuring a new stabilization hinge and PROLED XDR display technology, pre-orders start October 30.
Screen features and performance
The new laptop is available in 14- and 16-inch sizes, with a PROLED XDR display. Inside, it features the M5 Pro and M5 Max processors, while memory can reach 128GB and storage space can reach 16TB.
The display offers a maximum brightness of 2.000 nits and a contrast ratio of 10.000.000:1. To withstand touch pressure and remain stable during video calls, the company designed a new hinge. At the top of the display there is a Dynamic Island-style notch instead of the classic design.
Sound, ports and availability
The sound is based on a six-speaker system with a new bass design. The 14-inch model weighs 1,38 kg and the 16-inch model weighs 1,82 kg.
