Bitdefender introduces GravityZone AI Visibility and Control, mapping AI tools, local models, and code packages across Windows endpoints to provide structured risk visibility.
To help companies know exactly which AI tools are on Windows computers, Bitdefender has introduced GravityZone AI Visibility and Control. The new tool detects and records four main categories: services opened from within the browser, tools within code writers, local programs running on the device, and tools connected to other systems.
What does the system detect?
The system can identify more than 50 auxiliary agents and over 70.000 additional code packages. Each service detected is classified into one of 17 available functional categories.
The detection process is done automatically during a risk scan. The program only collects information about what software is present and how it is configured, without recording messages, chat history, passwords, or file content.
How data appears in the console
In the central management console, information is presented in two main views. The first shows all AI aggregated along with its risk score, while the second displays findings in order of priority.
A risk score of zero simply indicates that no dangerous setting was found, not that the company has approved the use of the tool.
How is it managed?
The tool itself does not block access, remove programs, or change permissions. Policy enforcement is done with existing security tools, such as web content filters and detection rules.
The feature is easily enabled through the current security policy, in the risk management section of the console.
