CMF has announced its first portable speaker lineup featuring a distinctive milk carton form factor, Bluetooth 6.0, and IP68 water and dust resistance.
The release details hardware specifications including the $59 Speaker S and $109 Speaker M, audio driver configurations, battery performance of up to 18 hours, and pairing support for NFC, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair.
The new models are called the Speaker S and Speaker M, and are priced at $59 and $109 respectively. Both speakers come in orange, turquoise, and white, and feature a dedicated rotary knob for volume control, song switching, and reset. There's also a dedicated hole in the top corner, making it easy to attach the speaker to a bag or tent.
The technical characteristics of the two speakers
Inside, the smaller Speaker S features a 45mm driver and two passive radiators. The larger Speaker M features a 10W tweeter, dual drivers, a 25W woofer and two audio outputs.
Both speakers offer Bluetooth 6.0 connectivity, dust and water resistance, and up to 18 hours of battery life. Charging is via a USB-C port, which can also function as an audio input, although a cable is not included in the package. In addition, they support quick connection to devices via technologies such as NFC pairing, Google Fast Pair, and Microsoft Swift Pair.

Connection and customization options
Users can connect two Speaker S or two Speaker M together for better sound, but not one S and one M. At the same time, the speakers support the Auracast function for connecting to multiple devices.
The company will provide free design files for 3D printing so owners can create their own custom handles and accessories. The speakers are available on Nothing's retail website.
